Tax Policy Panel
This panel will review the state’s current tax structure and make recommendations for consideration during the legislative session. The goal is to create tax policy that encourages long-term economic growth and job creation.

Budget Working Groups
Budget working groups will examine spending for the state’s largest agencies, including the departments of Transportation, Health, Mental Health, Human Services, Corrections, Public Safety, Education, the Division of Medicaid, Institutions of Higher Learning, community colleges, boards and commissions, state facilities, and information technology consolidation.
The groups meet in room 216 of the state Capitol according to the following schedule:
Nov. 9 - 9 a.m. Department of Transportation, 9:45 a.m. Department of Education, 10:30 a.m. Institutions of Higher Learning, 11:15 a.m. Community and Junior Colleges, 1:15 p.m. Department of Public Safety, 2 p.m. Department of Corrections, 2:45 p.m. Buildings and Grounds, and 3:30 p.m. Boards and Commissions.
Nov. 10 - 9 a.m. Division of Medicaid, 9:45 a.m. Department of Health, 10:30 a.m. Department of Mental Health, 11:15 a.m. Department of Human Services and Child Protection Services, and 1:15 p.m. Information Technology Consolidation.
